As a child, Bryan grew up going to clubs where he watched his father play steel guitar and fiddle nearly every weekend. Every Sunday his grandmother would bring him to church where
his great-aunt played piano every Sunday. Bryan didn't begin playing bass until he was 17, when his mother
bought him his first bass. At 21, after playing in church for a while, he was recruited by Johnny Dwyer to play in his band. He also had a number of his own groups, but eventually returned to perform along side Johnny, Jamie Bergeron and the newly-formed Kickin' Cajuns. He remained with the band for many years. After taking a break from such a hectic schedule, he then joined Kim Brasso and LA Boogie. Bryan enjoys playing with Kim and LA Boogie because he enjoys working with the musicians in the band. He also loves to play and have people enjoy the music. By day, Bryan is an elementary teacher in New Iberia, LA. In his spare time he enjoys NASCAR and playing hockey. Some of his other credits include being the bass player/guitarist at the SpiritWind worship service on Sundays at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, LA. He's also lent his bass and guitar playing on several demos when the
opportunity has arisen. |
